Welcome to EnchantedBeads, a shop with such intricate and wonderful work it is sure to make you gasp!

A Little in her own words:

My unique jewelry designs in elegant styles are all handmade from semiprecious stones, genuine pearls and tiny beads composing a whole world of colors and shapes in each piece: flowers, hearts, ladybugs, butterflies. I am inspired by nature and one of my most important goals is to express in my jewelry the eternal qualities of our highest feelings.

Imagine a small piece of jewelry in which color, form and shape is combined in order to please the eye.
I think a lot about my pieces. Sometimes I get inspired by the semiprecious stones I find. I put them together with pearls and/or colorful seed beads in a specific design, carefully coordinating the colors to achieve a natural, shaded look by incorporating several nuances of beads for each color I choose.
My goal is to create stylized designs that bring more beauty to everyday life, inspire good feelings and increase self-awareness in the lasting symbols that are always present: love, faith, sincerity, purity, hope, renewal, and good luck.

Custom Stained Glass Bird Feeder

A Little in her own words:

I am a glass artist. I work with glass in all methods from stained glass to fusing to borosilicate. Every piece is custom made by hand. No two piece are ever the same! I also take orders, so if there's something you want but don't see, please never hesitate to contact me!

Fused glass is a term used to describe glass that has been fired (heat-processed) in a kiln at a range of high temperatures from 593 °C (1100 °F) to 816 °C (1500 °F).

Dichroic glass was developed over 100 years ago. In recent years it was perfected by NASA for use as a filter on the windows of the space shuttles. It has the unusual property of reflecting one color (when placed against a dark background), while transmitting another (when held up to the light).

Dichroic has a shimmering effect similar to the iridescence observed in an opal. Quite simply, different colors can be viewed in dichroic glass by examining it at different angles. The colors are brilliant, saturated wavelengths of light, making them exciting additions to jewelry and decorative houseware items.

Getting inspiration from dreams, I have been an artisan for 20 years. Incorporating elements of collage, rubber-stamping and found object art, My work is both abstract and representational.

I am a designer of art dolls,felted items, as well as a serious fiber artist.

Fabric art is my primary medium now. Besides pouches, pins and wall hangings, I combine the color and texture of fabric arts with my expertise in felting in order to create dynamic

My name is Wendy, I am a mom to two incredible children who are my inspiration. My 7 yo daughters nickname is "Punky" and my 4 yo son's nickname is "Munky". So that explains the name "Punkynmunky"

I've been crafting for many many years as my hobby. I started with crocheting when I was a child, learning from my Great Grandmother. From there I've added many other skills. I was bitten by the sewing bug when my daughter was born and wanted to make her some funky clothes. I then got into making her matching hair bows. In order to stay home with Punky and Munky, I decided to offer my items for purchase.

Prior to starting my family I was a licensed hairstylist and spent the last 7 years in the industry as an Educator. I think the educator in me is what compels me to make tutorials and to help others.

I like to call MichellesCharmWorld a Plastic, Pastel Paradise! Everything is Bigger, Bolder and Brighter! I love color and I love making normal everyday things, extraordinary. This shop started offline in 1995 when I started making jewelry on my own. I was tired of wearing a uniform all my life in Catholic schools and looking the same as everyone else, so on my weekends I loved purchasing off the rack pieces and combining them into something chunky and fabulous. EDCCollective carries an eclectic mix of items. Browse for handcrafted and vintage jewelry and accessories as well as photographic art and home decor.

EDCCollective began as a family of artisans/craft persons/collectors. My mom, our main collector passed away in Nov. of '09. So while the mix of items listed may change some, I will continue to offer quality hand crafted items as well as some vintage collectibles.

EDC's jewelry contains an eclectic range of materials including gemstones, crystal, glass, brass, vintage beads, wood, freshwater pearls, and feathers. A wide range of styles can be found and custom work is encouraged. My pieces contain either new or vintage components chosen for their individual beauty and combined appeal. While the majority of my listed pieces are silver or gold plated, I'd be happy to work with you to create a piece for you using sterling, GF, 14K gold or even leather. Please be sure to check out my unique product, "No-Hole" Gathering Pins.

Photographic art of nature in all its original splendor or digitally altered for a totally new look are also found in my offerings. These images are available, matted, in a variety of sizes for your wall as well as on note cards and bookmarks. Custom work is also available in this area.

Additional home decor items include pieces made from tree parts, otherwise destined for the landfill. These items include vases and candle holders.

Save all the socks that are too dingy after the wash in a gallon sized ziplock bag in your laundry room. As the bag fills dump it and pair them up and move this bag to your car. Now you have socks when the kids go to those play places that require them. After they play, toss the nasty little buggers in the trash and you don't bring home all those germs or dirty good socks!

I love handmade papers of all kinds. I have books of handmade papers just sitting around. I have been creating scrapbooks since 2007 and since then, have stuffed four 12x12 albums, and a few mini albums, this is how I began card making. My best investment ever was a juicer. I buy alot of fresh fruit and when it starts to go a bit too soft or over ripe, I juice it all up in the blender together for a fabulous and fresh fruit juice!

This Friday, I would like to take the time to Feature MaryTDesigns and her amazing beadwork! Please take a minute to step into this shop and see the passion that she has for what she does. Her work is so intricate, detailed and amazing!!

Here is some information in her own words:
I never considered that I would find my life's passion in beads, but I have. I love to work with beadweaving techniques the most, and I find myself lost in the design and execution of beadwoven pieces more often than not. I guess that this is consistent with other aspects of my life, since beadweaving requires patience and attention to detail - much like my "real" life.

In my "real" life, I am a wife, mother, and accountant (boring but organized). While I work a regular 40 hour week, I try to devote much of my off time designing and weaving. I can lose myself in beading for hours and sometimes find myself amazed at the time that has gone by! I am grateful that I have found this outlet that balances my life.

EART is the Eclectic Artisans Team. We're a group of people who create varied arts and crafts and a variety of genres - knitting, polymer clay, jewelry, cards, stuff for kids, and more.

Instead of posting a featured artist this Friday, we'd like to invite you to give the EART a try, especially if you've been looking for a way to promote your etsy shop and make some new friends.

What do we do?

Monthly group promotional activities, like a scavenger hunt, challenge or trunk show
Promote each other through blogging, facebook, treasuries, etc.
Visit our team forum regularly to chat and share about our crafts and our lives

What are the requirements?

Participation in the monthly group promotional activities 2 out of every 3 months
Helping with team tasks when needed
Promoting teammates through etsy treasuries and/or social networking sites

Browse through the following Eart Team shops
and hunt for the egg images you see in this post!
Each shop will be hiding BOTH of these eggs in TWO of their
listings, it's up to you to find them! Under each participating
shop link, you will see the prize they are giving away to ONE
of the lucky people that finds the egg!

How to play?
Head to the participating shop by clicking on any shop link.

Look in their listings for ONE of the eggs.

Take the listing NAME and LINKS where the eggs are hidden and send a CONVERSATION
through ETSY to the shop owner.

Make sure you do this for both eggs in order to be entered to win in that shop. Enter in as many shops as you want.

It's that simple! However, don't delay, the Hunt only lasts until April 1st. Then you wait and we will announce the winner on April 5th!
